Shit Happens

April 4th, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

"Miss, did you see my father?"

It was almost the curtain down conversation for the part today,

I came to him. Pale countenance. The trace of shock is still visible, reflected from his aura. Combination of trepidation and silence, which is not associated with serenity. Left-over panic mingled around.

Three boys suffered from some face blister by the accident of spirituous liquid experiment. The alcohol evaporated and blasted to a diverted fire blow, 3 boys standing only 2 metres away from the apparatus. Chemical thing can cause shit occur sometimes, despite being handled by expert. Fortunately, it was categorised as light injury, if you call ear and hair burnt out as unserious one, with a bit of lower facial parts blistered. Misfortune befalls when victims are students in a lab under a teacher’s accountability. Parents’ children sorta burden I could hardly imagine positioned in his shoes.

Back to line one, he was inside. I went in. Nobody else. It’s been one hour after the end of working hour. Checked his condition and entertained,"Well, A (the boy whose ears were injured) have managed to joke, "B’s pimple is gone now..".He  told me the details of incident and how the boys flew to the toilet for water tap with burning hair whilst he calmed the fire of the tool to save the room. He could not panic so he said. "The situation, you can’t imagine the fear…" There was a desperation in his voice, possibly due to guilt ,which was accidentally made. Not a single soul on earth would want a burden like this. I continued, "It’s okay. Things are controlled now. Their faces are okay, well, some small burns happen. Go home now and talk to your wife,  things will be fine." I helped keeping his things, went out, dealt with my job again, did some printing.

It was five minutes later the opening conversation of this blog emerged, "

Miss, did you see my father?"

"Oh, he’s inside."

Then he went out with his bag and greeted me for awhile, "Ivana, I gotta go home."

"Okay, things will be fine…See ya tomorrow."

Ya, things will be fine of course. God bless the teachers.

Show business ; blogging

March 20th, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

After reading the comment in the latest blog bout my abhorrance to my homeroom kids, it comes to mind that I am creating a bad image to me myself as a teacher with the slapping and abusive words. But it is done on purpose bcuz blogging isn’t all about angelic thing, u can be a devil in your blog bcuz blog is made to amuse. That’s where a blog plays.

You’re mad but u control not to tell ur readers. But If you’re mad continuously for weeks or months, you think blogging can relieve it , you press the ‘create a post’ button then ya go for it. But don’t regret for the image stamping to you as u’ll face the music from unnice sharing.

I am conscious it’s not a lovely read for parents. Sorry parents. There are good stories as well, but from other classes. With my own class, it’s doing ok, I am not avengeful and stil giving soul words to ‘em. but it’s not blogged bcuz those kids are not touchin at all or making enuff drama to ur pleasure of reading. Frankly speaking, I would say these 2-day public holiday without those kids make a happier me.

GRAMMAR TUTORIAL with the topic EMPTY YOUR TEA CUP

March 20th, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

‘Come momma..come write with ur fountainous explosive lips…’

Momma learnt from Grandma. Grandma isn’t necessary to be recruited from bloodline, but from any sage.

First conditional sentence
‘A human’s mindset will be altered When he encounters one who could re-set his point of view.’

Second conditional sentence

If human were a humble cup, he would empty his full glass to absorb and perform the useful novelty.

Third conditional sentence

If all humans had been humble cups, wouldn’t the world have resulted with better cooperation and wisdom?

Answer for 1st conditional sentence : Yes,momma’s mindset did alter, then switched off due to negativity, and now re-altered back to positivity again, by encountering the sages.

Answer for the 2nd: It’s a cliche, but that’s what static condition or deterioration is created for.

Answer for the 3rd: Momma ain’t a Dalai Lama and not deserved to judge this yet. But Momma likes listening and talking with humble nobles.

For sure, whether you admit or not, ur mindset can be changed, anytime, not by destiny, but by opportunity.

Beware those howling opportunity lurking at the corner, full glass. ;p

March 12th, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

Yang satu cowok, yang satu cewek.

Dua dua nya terperanjat ketika tanpa terencana meliat satu sama lain.

Lalu salah satuny cepat-cepat berlari naik ke pondok persembunyiannya.

Si cewek, yang dh sempat shock tapi lega kembali karena sang cowok tak jadi turun menantang kebetinaannya. Mentang2 dah gelap.ih jijai.

MOMMA

March 4th, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

The wreckage poured from the blog before this was just a release. However, I will always still give advice like a momma, momma who had fatigue but will keep playing the role as long as she still roles as momma. apology if the words were awfully read. my bad.

My mental is not as strong as steel. Steel mental is what’s required. I gotta DO IT, DO IT DO IT DO IT.

Three

February 22nd, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

Last week I met two frenz. It should be a bunch of ppl coming. The outcome is only three. Me, someone I would just meet for the 1st time (grogi hihi), and a guy I met months ago.

I arrived at spot first and saw nobody comin yet. 5 min later from a distance I saw someone unfamiliar yet still stranger to me. I was sure she is.. Sutini. She saw me and I smiled to her then we shook hand. Talk, She is a smart woman, just like her blog comment. Strong personality and good interpersonal skill she owns. Then 20 minutes later, came one guy…with glasses and friendly look . I know him oredi. He’s Kandar , the Indonesian Shakespeare of poem version.

All I can say, this is the most interesting talk of all gatherings before. Why? Less people but more things to talk together. Really nice, from job discussion to rascism (tq to Sutini I get to know how hostile those native French can be) to human trafficking at China and European countries. For Kandar, since I rarely touch newspapers nowadays for no papers at workplace while the papers I dealt mostly are the ancient or elderly history), so am sorta out of date bout current international rascism issue. trus dar, jgn takut melanglang ke eropa y n for sutini, wew, tel me more, I like to hear ur experience. U seem to know a lot.

At last the cafe was about to close oredi and since we are really civilized people, lol, we reluctantly had to leave. At the same time, My bf dropped in and took our pics which u cud see at my album.

See ya again kay?

CHINA

February 22nd, 2008 by dj-ivan-rocks

‘The diversity of my blog…’

Shameless I am in being driven with  favor to foreign product and adoration to Caucasian celebrities.

I don’t hesitate to state I prefer English language
than Chinese. am
doubtless in splurging my favor to western
entertainment, which statement is of no requirement to be alleged.

Nevertheless, over the past months, any components of  China
are engaging my LIFE, I should say (aside of the media bombardizing dragon China’s rapid financial growth). It all commenced from history lesson I
conveyed bout the oldest civilization of

China

,
from Shang civilization to the greatest yet ruthless emperor of

China

, Qin Shi
Huang. The emperor, infamous for his strong army, governmental supervision and
mercilesness, unified
in 221 BC after two hundred years of

China

feudalism civil war. He was also the emperor who introduced unified Chinese
writing (which system last till now) and pioneered the establishment of

Great Wall of China

. An old saying goes, "Man who
hasn’t stepped

Great Wall of China  is not a
true Chinese man yet.’ Fyi, My father named my middle name as ‘qin’.
Needless to say, Qin Shi Huang Di is the most influential emperor of the
history of China Dynasty.

For flicks about china, My Movie of the month’s favorite is
‘Lust Caution’ about Shanghai in 40s at Japanese occupation era.(Tang Wei, the
female leading role is gorgeous and selling like nuts now). Another flick, best
cinematography and actress winner of 96 Hongkong film awards, ‘The Soong
sisters’,Idup_narsis003_1
is based on the real history of three outstanding sisters who married most significant Chinese men. The first sister who loved money, married a
tycoon and led the most convenient life compared to the two others. The second
sister who loved her country, Soo Ching Ling, married the much older Sun Yat
Sen, the first revolutionaire in 1911. The youngest sister who loved power, Soo
May Ling, married Chiang Kai Sek, the successor of Sun Yat Sen’s Nationalist
Party but was later defeated by Communist and settled at Taiwan for good. These three
sisters were raised by affluent western- educated father. Hence, they were the
most modern and liberal women in early 20th century. Truly
recommended to learn.

Not just the historical view, I have been literally viewing
some Chinesemen and women here. From expatriates at work to more extensive
relation, I am, as if alerted by nature, bearing in mind my ancestor’s root.
Never in the past years have I heard bountiful Chinese conversation. Shi an
dialect, Chong Qin dialect,

Taiwan

Shanghai

dialect, been heard. Say there is a dialect award, the winner would be Shi An.
Precisely, Shi an dialect is very melodious, light and tuneful, almost
resembling

Beijing

’s
but preferrable. I wouldn’t say my Chinese speech has improved much, yet better
now, like able to converse with new words which words I used to understand only
but not used to be mentioned orally . I stil mix Mandarin with English when I get lost in figuring out the vocab.

Ancestors migrated far from their origins.. You see African Americans, ABC i.e american born chinese,  chinese indonesian, korean afro, even multicultural nationality and so on. Finally, here we are as a result of ancestor’s migration,  in a so called city named Medan. An Indonesian I become.
